Role:

Generating new business by cold calling companies and qualifying incoming leads.

Hours:

8:30am-5:00pm (Europe Hours)

Key Objectives:

• Generate leads via cold calling, recruit qualified seminar attendees, follow-up from events, advertisements, direct-marketing campaigns.

• Qualify interest on incoming leads and organize meetings.

• Work closely with marketing to monitor success of campaigns.

• Ensure that work is effectively time managed.

Experience &Knowledge:

• A background in telesales or telemarketing is potentially useful but by no means essential. What’s far more important is passion, focus, sounding personable and confident. Candidates must also be fluent in English, possess excellent communication skills and be self-driven with an enthusiasm for sales.

• Motivated to reach targets, self-driven.

• Organized, with good oral and written communications skills at all level

Main Duties of the Job:

Providing pre sales, network design and consultant services to facilitate sales of secure converged network solutions, Overseeing Cisco and multi-vendor LANs, WANs, WLANs, Unified Comms of prevailing manufacturer / industry standards for design and implementation best practises. Additionally, the position requires knowledge to access application, security, and management systems as per customer requirements.

Duties include presenting recommendations in written proposals, verbally at meetings, or via PowerPoint presentations to Clients to relate technical and business benefits to decision makers up to board level.

To provide the technical spec and generate full kit lists for solution sales and for qualifying maintenance service contracts where required.

To take technical responsibility for all technical issues included in sales proposals ensuring that they deliver the stated functionality.

To respond to tender processes covering technical sections and solution design issues as required providing commercially and technically compelling responses. 

The candidate should also be able to ensure that the System Installations Document is properly produced as per the published procedure; and be able to document and coordinate project activities to achieve stated deliverables and project milestones.

To establish and manage close working relationships with manufacturers, partner representatives and their customers and to internal Account Managers, other Consultant team members, and Engineers.

To keep abreast of trends and advances in the networking industry and disseminate the information as necessary keeping their skills up to date, current and relevant.

To analyse and evaluate customer, manufacturer and industry trends and initiate debate and further actions, both tactical and strategic, so that the company formulates responses appropriate to the market.

To perform high level technical audits of customer network environments, including in-depth documentation of observations and future recommendations.

To provide project coordination to ensure the appropriate resources are booked and managed to meet customer expectations in terms of service delivery. 

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Previous experience in a Pre-Sales Design Role 
Knowledge of legacy and new LAN and WAN Architectures 
Knowledge of legacy and new LAN and WAN Protocols
Knowledge of legacy and new LAN and WAN Technology
Precise Understanding of IP and Ethernet Protocols and Mechanisms
Understand and Communicate OSI 7 Layer Model – L1/L2/L3/L4
Familiar with Computer Applications and associated Traffic Flows
Some first-hand Network Design and Implementation Experience
Familiar with Network Design and Implementation Principles
Some Project Management Experience Useful
Detailed understanding of IPT technologies and deployments
Knowledge of WLAN systems.

Our client is looking for a skilled telemarketer for a 3 day contract, Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April 2012. 

The main task for this position will be to raise the attendance of a major marketing event they are hosting in the MK area (Near Denbigh/Mount Farm, Bletchley). 

The event runs from Tuesday to Thursday, consisting of 18 presentations and a potential 1000 businesses in attendance over the event. 

You will be making confirmation calls for all attendee’s, rescheduling for businesses that can no longer attend their pre booked appointment slot, and where necessary reselling the appointment where applicable. 

An attractive rate of pay is offered for this campaign with a bonus on offer if attendance exceeding the set target. 

You will be provided with a script and full training by our client before you start calling. 

You will be required between 9am and finish at 5pm.

You will be a highly-motivated Sales Executive with previous experience of selling IT products and solutions to the SME business sector.

The role is to be primarily focused on new business development and previous experience of selling hardware, software and business solutions to the SME sector would be required.

The role will involve the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure and order processing. Repeat business is paramount, so customer relationship building skills and a willingness to work as part of a team are vital.

With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be required to liaise on an independent and personal level with customers, suppliers and colleagues on both a technical & non-technical level.

You will be confident and presentable. Customer contact will be primarily via telephone and email, but also face-to-face at client premises.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and enthusiastic about staying up to date with our products, along with new solutions applicable to our business customer base.
